Wind Creek Aims to Raise $50,000 to Fight Childhood Cancer
By Magi Williams
ATMORE, Ala. – (09/25/2018) According to the American Cancer Society, about 10,590 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2018. This statistic hit close to home when, earlier this month, 19 year-old Denver Shuttlesworth, a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, lost his battle with cancer. In honor of Denver and in support of those still fighting, Wind Creek Hospitality (WCH) is joining the fight to help fund Pilots for Christ and St. Jude.
We need your help to make a difference for children like Denver in our communities! For each person who visits a Wind Creek resort on Friday, September 28, one dollar will be donated to fund the fight against childhood cancer. To participate, you can visit restaurants, the spa, cooking studio, casino, and any of our resort amenities. Wind Creek Atmore (WCA), Wind Creek Wetumpka (WCW) and Wind Creek Montgomery (WCM) are waiting for you to join the fight against childhood cancer. Making a difference is as simple as making a stop at Wind Creek.
