Wind Creek Hospitality to Dedicate Apartment to Homeless Family

Mobile, AL. (06/12/2019) – 

A formerly homeless family has found a new home, thanks to support from Wind Creek Hospitality. On June 18, 2019, the Dumas Wesley Community Center’s Transitional Housing Program, Sybil Smith Family Village, will dedicate an apartment to the family in honor of Wind Creek Hospitality. The dedication will begin at 11:30 a.m.

“Wind Creek is pleased to support Dumas Wesley Community Center with a $20,000 donation. The work done at the Sybil Smith Family Village is changing lives and we are honored to play a role in that. Thank you for your partnership with Wind Creek and thank you for caring for families in need in the communities we call home,” said Magi Thomley Williams, Public Relations Director for Wind Creek Hospitality.

To date, Dumas Wesley’s Sybil Smith Family Village has provided the means to a new life for over 2,000 individuals. The program combines transitional housing for up to 24 months, a fully-furnished apartment, life skills classes, counseling and supportive wraparound services designed to move a family from homelessness to independence.
