Support From the Village of Worth

I am writing to offer my support to Wind Creek Hospitality’s application for a casino license for a site in East Hazel Crest and Homewood.

I, along with many of my colleagues in the region, have had the opportunity to review the points of the proposed site. It is my opinion that the location is what will help this site thrive with its easy access. It also has the strongest potential to become a tourist destination for the southland.

What really sets Wind Creek Hospitality apart from its competition is their desire and their record of helping the communities in which they invest by providing jobs and economic stability to the area. Their proposed Southland Public Benefit Fund has the power to change the lives of the young people who live here. I believe this will ultimately impact our state by providing educational opportunities through scholarships that will inspire the workforce of the future to come back to the region.
